These terms apply when you use our website or place an order with Memory Magnet. Please read them before you order.
About us
memorymagnet.com.au is run by Memory Magnet, a small business based in Sydney, NSW.
Placing an order
When you place an order, you are making an offer to buy. We accept your order when we send you an order confirmation email. We may decline or cancel an order, for example if a photo breaches these terms or an item is listed at the wrong price. If we cancel, we will refund you in full.
Prices and payment
- All prices are in Australian dollars.
- Delivery fees are shown at checkout before you pay.
- Payment is taken when you place your order, through WooPayments, our secure payment provider.
- We may change our prices at any time, but changes will not affect orders already confirmed.
Your photos
You keep ownership of the photos you upload. By uploading a photo, you give us permission to use it only to print and deliver your order.
You confirm that you own each photo or have permission to print it. We may refuse to print, and refund, any photo that:
- Belongs to someone else, such as professional photos you do not have the rights to, or images of brands, logos or cartoon characters.
- Is offensive, unlawful or shows anyone in a way they have not agreed to.
Print quality and colour
Colours on screens vary, so printed magnets may look slightly different from what you see on your phone or computer. Print quality depends on the photo you upload. Small, blurry or heavily compressed photos will print less sharply. We are not responsible for poor results caused by low-quality photos, but we will let you know before printing if a photo looks too small.
Making and delivering your order
We usually make orders within 1 to 2 business days. Delivery times are estimates and depend on Australia Post. See our Shipping policy for details.
Changing or cancelling an order
Because each order is made to order, please contact us as soon as possible if you need to change or cancel it. We can usually help if we have not started printing. Once printing has started, we may not be able to cancel.
Faulty items and your consumer rights
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in these terms limits those rights. See our Refunds and faulty items policy for how to report a problem.
Using our website
The website design, text and images we create belong to Memory Magnet. Please do not copy them without our permission. We try to keep the website accurate and available, but it may sometimes contain errors or be unavailable.
Our liability
To the extent allowed by law, including the Australian Consumer Law, we are not liable for indirect losses arising from your use of our website or products. Our total liability for an order is limited to the amount you paid for it, except where the law does not allow this limit.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page when you place your order applies to that order.
